The water filled barriers are installed during short term and ongoing road works or emergency situations. It is often filled with water or sand to provide enough strength to withstand the impact of a traffic incident. The water filled barriers are highly visible and cost-effective. The barriers are sturdy and very effective for construction sites, walkways and work areas. When filled up with water they weigh up to 288 kg and 18 kg when empty.
